How to arrange Virtual branch

  1. Contact us via your SME or Corporate branch.
  2. We will go through the options needed to setup the Virtual branch.
  3. Virtual branch enables you to setup banking products or users remotely.

Virtual branch

Virtual branch enables secured communication towards bank and the other way, including electronic signing of contracts and similar documents. Your requests send via Virtual branch will be handled right away and therefore will save your time and money. Functions available within Virtual branch:

  • Request for credit drawdown and sending loan documentation
  • Setup of new current, saving or term deposit accounts incl. statements setup
  • Setup contract for cash handling services
  • Request bank confirmations or initiate claims
  • Requests for cash withdrawal, including delivery (Flexicash Plus service)
  • New payment (both debit and credit) cards and deposit cards to your accounts
  • New users or accounts to ČSOB CEB service
  • Payment card acceptance service, payment gateway for e-shops
  • Provide instructions for custodian services
  • Arrange an agreement for trading on financial markets
  • Online archive of documents with electronic signature and other services

How does Virtual branch work

Login to the service is possible with a username and password with confirmation in the Smart Key application. An electronic signature with certificates offers even higher level of security for login. You can sign documents in the Virtual Branch in accordance with the Electronic Signature Act.

Electronic signature of documents
  • Signing documents is done by electronic signature either via Smart key application (advanced signature) or via I.CA qualified certificate (chip card or I.CA RemoteSign application), where the latter is required for loan related documents
  • Persons being statutory bodies for your companies can be the ones to sign, or you can give power of attorney to your employee to do so
  • The contract and documents signed are available in an electronic archive right within the service - you can always review them

We recommend to logon to the service always via bank homepage - this for the security reasons. Please, do not use entry via search engines, third parties web pages or links sent via e-mail. When logging in, be sure to check the page is using https: protocol (secured and encrypted connection) and that the certificate it is using is issued for Československá obchodní banka, a.s.

System requirements

Hardware

ČSOB CEB is optimized for screen resolution 1024 x 768 px and more, with lower resolution some features (controls on the page) can be hidden.

Logon or signing with a electronic signature (certificate)

  • Chip card with valid certificate, or the I.CA RemoteSign mobile app to the access the certificate
  • Chip card reader and software SecureStore Card Manager enabling the communication between browser and the chip card

Communication towards certification authority servers is required for proper authentication when using chip card. If needed, please check your network configuration (connectivity towards *.ica.cz, ports 80 and 443).

Logon or signing with Smart key application

  • Smartphone with Android or iOS and activated Smart Key application (Smart Key application can be used also for CEB Mobile )

Software

We do recommend following equipment dependent on authentication and authorization methods you choose:

Operating system

  • MS Windows 10 and 11
  • macOS 11 and higher

The operation system should be supported by its supplier - in general we recommend to keep the computer up-to-date with security enhancements recommended by the OS supplier.

Browser

  • Microsoft Edge (Windows)
  • Google Chrome (Windows and macOS)
  • Mozilla Firefox (Windows and macOS)
  • Safari (macOS)

Browser must support scripting (have it enabled) and cookies. In case you will use chip cards, plugins or add-ons are available per each browser (add-ons for Chrome, Chromium based Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox, JAVA for Safari in supported versions). Our applications and services are optimised for browsers introduced in the last year - similar to operating system, we recommend regular updates of the browser for your security.

Using other operating systems or browsers then above is possible, but functions or correct display of the information in the application cannot be granted.
