Is it possible to deactivate the “Simplified Payment Verification” function? If so, where?

The so-called “Simplified Payment Verification” is offered only by enhanced internet banking, which clients log in to with ČSOB Identity. It is functional for payments between trusted and own accounts and payments up to CZK 500. If you do not wish to confirm by SMS or Smart Key or certificate, you can deactivate this function in the ČSOB Identity Portal.

How exactly does the so-called “trusted account” work in internet banking? And how can I add a trusted account into their list?

If you add a selected account into the list of trusted accounts, then you will not need to confirm payments to this account by SMS key, Smart Key or certificatein the future. You can only send the payment.

You will add the selected account into the list of trusted accounts when entering the payment – in the first step of the form under the field “account number” select “add account to trusted accounts”.

You will find the list of trusted beneficiaries in “Templates” (menu / Payments / Templates), and there you can also remove a beneficiary from the list.

Has there been any change in the limits in electronic banking I log in to with ČSOB Identity?

Yes, there has been. So far the limits have been set according to the so-called channel (for example separately for internet banking and separately for phone banking) and also separately for each product. In addition, we have introduced new limits depending on the confirmation method (SMS key / Smart Key / certificate). Therefore the maximum amount you can transfer through internet banking if confirmed by SMS key will be different from the amount transferred using Smart Key.

I see that I have different limits in enhanced internet banking I log in to with my ČSOB Identity from the ones set in the previous version of internet banking. How can I change them?

In enhanced internet banking you can change the limits yourself directly on the given page (similarly as in the previous version of internet banking), or you can call our infoline +420 495 300 300 or visit us at any branch.

I have set up ČSOB Identity, but I have not manage to activate it through the reference in the confirmation e-mail. What should I do?

For safety reasons, the reference in the confirmation e-mail is valid for 7 days. If you did not manage to activate the ČSOB Identity, please log in to the current version of internet banking or Smartbanking – the ČSOB Identity settings will be started again and you will receive an e-mail with a new reference.

Where can I find the contractual documents I signed when the ČSOB Identity was set up?

You will find them in enhanced internet banking you will log in to already with ČSOB Identity – select “My box” on the start page and then “Documents” in this tile.
