Why contribute to ČSOB ForGoodCause

ČSOB ForGoodCause is a donation service in ČSOB Smart mobile banking. You simply switch it on and donate to a non-profit organisation of your choice for its work - helping those in need. Long-term direct support is most valuable to them, and you won't be burdened with a few coins. Join other donors and contribute to a good cause today.

How to do it

In your ČSOB Smart app find ČSOB ForGoodCause (in the Offers - Accounts section).
You choose which non-profit organization you want to support.
You choose your donation amount (0.1 %, 0.5 %, 0.8 %).
You can change or suspend your contributions at any time.
You can also change the supported organisation
Once the service has been arranged, you will see it in the product overview in ČSOB Smart

Frequently Asked Questions

How do ForGoodCause contributions show up on my checking account statement?

ForGoodCause contributions will appear on your statement in aggregate at the end of the month. This total amount will then automatically leave the checking account to the supported non-profit organization.

On which cards are ForGoodCause contributions active?

Once ForGoodCause is activated, contributions are deducted from all cards issued to client accounts - debit, credit and cards issued to those accounts. So, for example, if a client's partner pays with a card issued to owner's account, contributions are sent from partner's transactions as well.

When does a change in the supported organization affect contributions?

At the end of each month, the cumulative contributions to ForGoodCause will be sent the account to the organization that is currently set as the supported organization. So if you change organisations during the month, all contributions for that month will go to the newly selected organisation.

Will contributions be deducted if I don't have enough funds in my account?

If you do not have sufficient available balance in your account, funds will not be deducted from your account. Therefore, it is not possible for you to run up an unauthorised debit because of making a donation.

Where can I find a contribution receipt for tax purposes?

Every January, you will find a statement in your Internet banking for all your contributions for the previous calendar year.

When will a change in the amount or suspension of a contribution be effective?

Suspension or change of contribution amount will be reflected from the next card payment. If you have a larger card payment coming up and you don't want to contribute from it, just pause the ForGoodCause service in ČSOB Smart app before the payment and restart it after the payment.
